Terms and Conditions
ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
Occasionally there may be information on the Website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to user descriptions, pricing, availability, promotions, and offers. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms and conditions at any time and for any reason. We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information on the Website, including, without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied on the Website should be taken to indicate that all information on the Website or Services has been modified or updated. Please ensure that you check the applicable Terms every time you use our site so that you understand which Terms apply. You will be subject to and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted the changes in any revised Terms and conditions by your continued use of the site after the date such revised Terms and conditions are posted.

- ALL SALES ARE FINAL and there will be no refunds.
- All invoices will be subject to a 13% auction fee.
- Items that are not picked up on the scheduled pickup day will be disposed of, resold, or donated without refund.
BIDDING
To bid on an item, the bidder must be a registered user. By submitting a bid, the bidder acknowledges and accepts all of the terms and conditions. Please take a few seconds before placing bids to review the auction details, as Dock 17 Dollar Auctions cannot edit or delete bids once they have been submitted.
EXTENDED BIDDING
At a predetermined time, all items will begin to close. We make use of an auto-extension feature. Any bid placed at the conclusion of an auction will automatically extend the auction's end time by three minutes from the time the bid was placed.
INSPECTION
Buyers are responsible for inspecting all items and deciding for themselves if the item they have inspected is what they want to buy. Dock 17 Dollar Auctions will not be held responsible for any inconsistencies in the description announce or printed.
PAYMENTS
All purchases will be subject to a 13% auction fee. Following each auction, credit cards on file will be charged and an email with a "paid in full" invoice will be sent. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express are all accepted forms of payment. Unless otherwise specified in the auction details, credit cards will be charged automatically at the conclusion of the auction. To continue bidding, bidders must have available funds on their credit card and a valid card on file. Bidders with unpaid invoices may lose their items and/or bidding privileges.
CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORIZATION
Each time you bid in an auction; a $1.00 pre-authorization will be charged to your credit card. This is a pending charge solely for the purpose of validating your credit card. This charge will not remain on your account indefinitely and will be removed automatically. Please contact us at support@dock17dollarauctions.com if you have any questions.
CONDITION TERMS
"New" - these are items that appear to be brand new or have never been used. These items have not been tested for full functionality.
"Like New" - items listed as “Like New" were received into our warehouse as overstock, shelf pull or return but our staff determines it to have little to no use with very little wear. The product has not been tested for full functionality or full completeness.
“Used" - items listed as "Used" have been previously unpacked and used. If possible, items will have secondary photographs that show the damage, but are not inspected for completeness or functionality, and may have additional damages than those discovered during the company's inventorying process.
STAGGERED CLOSING
Multiple items are auctioned off per minute in our online auction. This feature will automatically end the bidding at specified intervals. If two bidders place a bid on the same item in the final minutes before the scheduled end time, the item's bidding will be extended by three minutes.
LOSS OF BIDDING PRIVILEGES
Bidding privileges may be revoked if the buyer's credit card is declined. Additionally, Dock 17 Dollar Auctions reserves the right to revoke bidder privileges for failure to comply with the Terms & Conditions. Dock 17 Dollar Auctions reserves the right to restore privileges.
INVOICES
Invoices are generated and sent via email the morning of the auction's scheduled pickup time. If the bidder has not received an invoice, please check his or her spam folder. To obtain a duplicate invoice, send an email to support@dock17dollarauctions.com
PICKING UP ITEMS
Buyer must present a "paid in full" invoice (printed or electronic) and a valid driver's license at the time of pickup. At the time of pickup, driver's license numbers may be recorded to ensure that no one is picking up the same item twice. If the bidder is unable to attend the scheduled pickup date/time, it is the bidder's responsibility to send someone on their behalf with a valid driver's license and an invoice that has been paid in full. If the item(s) is not picked up on the scheduled pickup date, it will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of, resold, or donated without refund, unless the winning bidder contacts support@dock17dollarauctions.com to arrange for an alternate pickup.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Our auctions require local pickup, but we can make an exception upon request. If you are interested, please email support@dock17dollarauctions.com with a "paid in full" invoice and your preferred shipping address. We will contact you with a shipping quote as soon as one is available. Because we do not offer automatic shipping, all requested items must be included in the request. For the benefit of our local bidders, Local bidders must adhere to the scheduled pick-up date specified on the invoice. If you are unable to make the scheduled pick-up, please contact support to arrange for an alternate pick-up date.
TAX EXEMPTION
When picking up your item, please bring the Tax Exemption form with you. If you do not comply, your tax exemption will be denied, and you will be required to apply to the state for a refund.
RESERVES
Dock 17 Dollar Auctions reserves the right to terminate, postpone, or extend an auction or pick-up time for any reason and at any time. Additionally, any item may be removed at any time from the online auction. Dock 17 Dollar Auctions reserves the right to refuse sale at any time prior to receipt of payment. Dock 17 Dollar Auctions Staff reserve the right to bid and purchase merchandise.
