How do I pick up my items?
We offer local pickup from our warehouse at 17325 Euclid Ave, Dock 17, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. To our warehouse enter the Chandlor Park Small Business Center parking lot from Arabella and you can enter using the metal stairs at Dock 17.
Can my items be shipped?
Currently shipping is not available on our website, however if you would like to see the cost to have your items shipped, please use the Contact Us page to let us know your best address to receive a quote. Shipping fees can range from $10-$35 for standard sized products. Dimensions and weight can drastically increase shipping cost. After you agree to the quote we will issue an updated invoice and your order will be shipped within 48 hours after payment.
What if I don't see any stairs at the entrance of Dock 17?
Stairs for customers are only installed on days we are Open for pickup. Those days and times are Saturday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Sunday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, and Monday 12:00pm - 6:00pm.
My card was charged $1 but I did not win any auction yet? Why was I charged?
The $1 pre-authorization charge is an unsettled charge that will clear. This unsettled charge is placed each time a bid is placed to verify the card is valid. This transaction will disappear and your card will not actually be charged.
What happens if I am unable to pick up my item at the scheduled time?
Winning bidders have up to 1 week from the finishing date of the auction to pickup up their product(s). Winning bidders also can send a person on their behalf with a valid driver's license and a copy of the “Paid In Full” invoice. Products that aren't picked up after 1 week of the finishing date of auction will be considered abandoned and are subject to disposal, resale, or donation without refund. No refund will be issued for merchandise not picked up.
What if I don’t receive an invoice?
An invoice will be sent before the next scheduled pick up date. If you do not see the invoice in your email please check your spam folder, however an email can be sent to Support@Dock17 DollarAuctions.com to obtain a copy of your invoice.
Is a paper copy of the invoice required, or can I just show the email on my phone?
No. You can show our staff the Invoice on your phone or paper. Either is fine.
Are there any auction fees?
All items will be charged with a 13% auction fee.
Can I return merchandise?
We cannot offer any returns or exchanges. All sales are final. There will be no exceptions. Before putting your initial bid, please come and inspect the product in person Saturday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Sunday 12:00pm - 6:00pm, or Monday 12:00pm - 6:00pm. Also carefully check the condition, description and photographs available on our site and app. Please email Support@Dock17DollarAuctions.com if you believe the product was grossly misrepresented.
Can I retract my bid if I am no longer interested in the item?
We can't edit or delete bids once they have been submitted.
When do auctions end?
Auctions will end at intervals of one minute at the time listed on each auction. Meaning, if an auction is scheduled to end at 8:00PM, item # 1 and #2 will end at 8:00 followed by item #3 and #4 ending at 8:01. Once all items end, the auction will close. When two bidders are bidding for the same item within the last minutes of an item's scheduled ending time will be extended for an additional 3 minutes. This allows all customers a fair opportunity.
Why do I need to provide a credit card to register for bidding?
At the end of each auction the winning bidders' credit cards will be charged. This allows for a smooth pickup process.
What do I need to bring with me to pick up my item?
"Paid in Full" invoice and a valid driver's license
Do I need to create an account?
Yes, the only way to bid is to create an account and place a credit/debit card on file.
Is a resale certificate required?
No, a resale certificate is not required but you will be charged sales tax. If you would like to be registered as tax exempt please send an email to Support@Dock17 DollarAuctions.com to submit your resale certificate. Once processed we will make your account tax exempt.
